Our Mission

Through Alaska Construction Academy efforts, Alaskan students and adults will be recruited, trained and placed into jobs in the construction industry.

  • Promote understanding among Alaskans about career opportunities in construction related occupations
  • Build a strong, flexible workforce able to enter the workforce or continue with post-secondary education training and apprenticeships
  • Enable employers to hire workers with training to increase productivity and improve the quality and safety of the workforce
